AMATEUR RADIO LICENSE TESTING
License Examinations are available in Newport on the second Saturday of every month. They are held at Newport Senior Center on SE 2nd St.@ 0900am. Exam test fee in 2009 is $15.00 for one or more elements taken on the same day. Photo ID is required. Bring two copies of your existing license if upgrading.

This is a great service and I appreciate the opportunity to take my test for General class later this summer, here locally rather than drive to the valley.
Exactly what I needed to know. Thanks for posting this. Is there someone to contact to confirm that the exam on a given date hasn't been cancelled due to weather or anything?
